Serving the students, staff, and families of Alta Mesa as principal is an absolute honor. Alta Mesa is a place where strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we focus on empowering students through the 7 Habits and creating a positive, connected school culture where every child feels valued and supported.

I grew up here in the Redding community and feel so fortunate to now lead in the place I call home. For over ten years, I’ve worked in our local school system in a variety of roles, gaining experience as both a teacher and an administrator. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, Master’s Degree in Education, as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Administrative Credential—all from local colleges.

Outside of school, I’m a proud mom to two junior high daughters who keep life busy and full of perspective. I enjoy staying active, spending time with my family, friends, and pets, traveling, and being outdoors—especially anywhere near the water.
